I began my health and wellness career many years ago.
I was born and raised in Omaha, NE, attended college at the University of Nebraska at Omaha – majoring in Exercise Science. I spent many years working in rehab, specializing in Senior Rehabilitation in both the hospital setting and home health care setting.
Due to my own experience of dealing with the ever-changing insurance market and my own disease, I and my oldest son are Type 1 Diabetics, I decided to change paths and enter the insurance industry. I know first-hand how important it is to have someone look out for your insurance needs so you can focus on the everyday happenings of life without added worries. I have worked hard to help families like yours, achieve financial security from unforeseen loss due to Medical, Long Term Care, and Final expenses. My goal is to help you ease the financial burden that these expenses can create.

I was raised in Omaha, NE, and have always been passionate about helping people. This passion was not being fulfilled with the oddball jobs I was doing so in 2014. I joined the United States Army. During my seven-year career, I was honored with the ability to help grow and develop my peers and discovered a unique little town in Alabama where I could be involved in the community. I found in this little town how passionate our prior generations were about preserving history and ensuring connections from their generation to each generation that followed. I witnessed genuine care for one another in this community and those placing each other's needs before their own, even when dealing with their hardships. These people and this little town inspired me and sparked my passion for helping people even further. In September of 2021, my life changed, and the Army's medical personnel determined my Army career would end, and I would be medically retired. Although I never saw myself not in the military, God had other plans for me, and a new chapter in my life was about to begin. At the same time, trying to determine my new path, my mom offered to help me get a position with her at American Senior Benefits. At first, I was not too thrilled with the work, but very quickly, I saw the impact I could make in the lives of that generation that had inspired me so much. The fulfillment didn't only show me that with this position, I could help the older generations but also that other veterans could use my assistance. This position has become more than I could have ever asked for; I love meeting everyone, developing new relationships, ensuring that you and your family understand what you have earned during your lifetime, and providing you get every bit of help you earned and deserved.

My path to becoming an insurance agent has taken many twists and turns. Ultimately, my passion for assisting folks has always been high on my list of values. I have always had a servant’s heart and look to help anyone I can. I will always strive to provide the best possible service. I grew up in a small town in Northwest Iowa. I attended West Sioux Community High School and graduated in 2008. After high school, I pursued my Associate’s Degree in Police Science and graduated from Western Iowa Tech in 2012. Life provided me with a few challenges to overcome, and I chose to pursue other avenues after college. Ultimately, this led me to my spouse and a fantastic career with American Senior Benefits. Starting this career has given me not only the opportunity but also my commitment to helping you and your family navigate the complex world of retirement. We will always be here for you. In 2024, we welcomed a handsome little boy. His name is Drexton, and he has no shortage of personality. Drexton keeps us on our toes, and we love every minute of it.
